Expressions?

In OB the facial expressions were really bland, limited and rare. You only saw one of four expressions during the Speechcraft minigame, and occasionally you'd get dirty looks from people that didn't like you in public. So, me and my friend (mostly my friend) had this idea that on Skyrim, maybe there should be more immersive expressions? I mean the animations and AI systems are gonna be a lot better (supposedly). And wouldn't it make sense, when being chased by a ravenous wolf or a minotaur, instead of running like it's a morning jog, if the NPC being chased would drop his stuff and haul [censored], screaming or waving his arms? Or maybe enable the NPCs to use sprinting in times of crisis.

Good, not great, since the dialogue interface has changed you won't be focusing in on their faces but looking at them as a whole and the world around you.

ooh you're gonna get it for using the dirty "I" word. lots of people here dont take kindly to you using a subjective word. :D

but yes, more emotions would be nice. in the gameplay vid we see Trailer Guy panting after he struck the dragon down so there is hope

I'd like to see expressions and body language match the person or creature's disposition toward you and others. It'd be great to walk into a store owned by a guy that might be racist against your type, and watch him smiling at one customer, and then turn toward you and watch a scowl run across his face. Maybe throw in an improvised hand or arm gesture that equates to giving someone the finger.

Note: I don't actually want to see an Altmer flip me off when I cut them off with my horse. Amusing as it would be, I'd like to see Bethesda make up their own rude gestures.

Yeah I see what you're saying there but I'm talking just in general. Instead of people standing on the sidewalk, staring like a creeper as you walk by with a very happy, happy, angry or very angry expression on their face depending on their view of you. Me and my friend got onto this topic because I mentioned once I told the Adoring Fan on OB to bug off and go back to the Arena, and like three days later I saw him running through the woods being chased by wolves and a bandit but he was running like in any other situation.
