Crashes while equipping items : IV

Lately, my game has been crashing almost every time i equip or unequip items. I get a msg about a "runtime error" when this occurs. Normally, i just save before i change equipment, and when i reload after the game crashes i can equip without it freezing again.

Just wondering what possible solutions could be. should i try a crash preventation mod, and if so which one? the only one i found seemed to only fix entrance/exit based crashes.

just bumping because these crashes are driving me crazy, and i am at a total loss on fixing them :banghead:

Have you tried without deadly reflex? Or without attack and hide medium? There are the only ones I do not use and all the others l do without the problem. So deactivate these and see how it goes.

thanx, i'll give that a try when i get home. i hope DR isn't causing the issue, its my fav mod

If it is DR then probably a load order issue. Use BOSS and Wrye bash. Check for patches.
