ok so ever since 09 ive been waiting for this game to come out. i got my copy from the local gamestop i work at ( and yes , i know i could get fired for it, but i was hoping it would be worth it) . i got my copy on saturday and have been playing ever since. im not like most reviewers that only play a game for a few hours and then make a review for it.

i thought this game would be the next big fps shooter. i expected another tf2 on steroid. i also expected mirrors edge style of parkour. well, the sad thing is, the parkour in this game is pretty bad. i mean, half the jumps you can do in this game were also present in crysis 2.

the thing that bothered me the most was the stupid stupid AI. ok, maybe the patch might fix it, but something else was that its just too boring. it was me and 5 humans and 1 bot vs. 6 humans and 2 bots. it was really slow paced and boring. the objectives are also boring and it seems like nobody even bothers to go for them.

i wish this game had normal modes like tdm and ctf. i just dont see the one multiplayer mode available in this game being enough.

although most of the things said in this review were negative, its not necessarily a bad game, just a game i feel many people will feel disappointed with. the customization is good and the controls feel pretty smooth. unfortunately the bland gameplay makes the game feel a little boring. if you are on the fence about getting this game, honestly, i'd say just wait for la noire. if you already plan to get la noire, then sure pick this up. i just dont think it has lasting value. i give it a 7/10 which is what i predict most critics will give it as well.

Atleast he gave his opinion thats what most reviewers just want to do, plus its all opinion. Hell, I fear for my review when the game comes out now, I can understand all the reasons behind the game having flaws, I'm not expecting perfection but I hope when I say something somebody will care.

WHY have so many people judged this game based off of playing vs AI.

AI is bad and boring in a multiplayer games perspective. I bought Mortal Kombat and love it but can't even touch it until PSN comes back, I just can't stand the bots anymore. BTW, have fun saying its the best game ever for the next month or so....lol @ gamestores.

AND YES I PLAYED ONLINE I SAID THAT ALREADY. there are still bots during online gameplay if there arent enough players. its around eight thirty p.m here in new york

Well to put it in a nice way and to keep it short: sorry to break your heart, but this game isn't catered towards the Call of Duty or other mainstream FPS fanbase. At all.

Have you seen the AI in Gears3 beta? It's horrible...

You stealing the game aside, I think this was a rather fair review, but don't expect a warm reaction from other posters. Generally on game forums (especially prior to release) posters don't like hearing negativity regarding the title they've been waiting for for so long. It's not really anyone's fault: you're just trying to get you opinion (of which you're entitled to) out and they're trying to defend their pre-order/piqued interest. But unlike most other threads resembling this one you didnt just pop up and scream "IT SUX" like some troll; I got the sense you were genuinely weighing pros and cons. Also, even thought I'm still totally stoked, I've actually been anticipating ~7.0 scores for some time.

Wait what? I wasn't trolling, I was saying altleast he gave HIS opinion, and the somebody will care was referencing Sucram's post. As I thought it was alittle unnecessary.

how about TDM is completely against what this game stands for which is TEAM PLAY but i could see capture the flag if they did it right

You do realize this is a team based, strategic shooter right? Not TF2, Mirror's Edge, or Crysis 2. And it's especially not Call Of Duty with that TDM and trash. Don't expect a game to be something else.

Flaming other members (calling them nerds/lame/butt hurt) gets your thread closed. Next time it gets you an official warning and suspension.

Also, do you realize that we can see your IP thus Bethesda could very well contact the store you work for and they, thus you would indeed be in trouble for breaking the "release date"?

That is something to think about. Oh, and we don't allow discussion of illegal activity which breaking a release date is btw.
