Why Skyrim will be a better game that Battlefield 3

I know that Battlefield 3 and Skyrim are very different games, but my friend says that "Skyrim svcks compared to Battlefield 3". He never played any Elder Scolls game before. Please convince him that he is wrong.
Why? He isn't wrong. If he prefer FPS games like Battlefield 3, it's undoubtly the better game for him.
In any case, this thread is pointless so I'm closing this.
