Telekinesis Possibilities

I'd like to be able to throw enemies. At low Alteration levels, you can only throw small enemies, but at high Alteration levels, you can pick up a Daedroth and toss him around the room.

As some have stated above me, there is already a dragon shout that is essentially force push. Because of this, my guess is that it might be used more for defense/disarming purposes, along with accessing hard to reach items. I would love to see some bioshock features though, telekinesis was one of my favorite plasmids.

It sounds interesting because since they stated that with fire, if you hit the trigger you'll do a fireball, hold it down you'll do a continuous flame and if you equip it to both hands you unleash a massive fireball an also the placement of runes, im hoping the same is applied to telekineses

like if you just hit the trigger you'll unleash a targeted force blast that will knock away enemies and objects(or if powerful enough disarm an enemy), hold it down you'll do a bioshock type grab and hold until you release and throw the object and if you hold both triggers you do a sort of large shockwave that goes in a radius or something like that, same with placing a rune that knocks everyone back in its radius and such

or something like that

If you can throw enemies then won't they kinda make fus ro dah redundant or semi redundant

Just how often do you think you'll be able to use a massive 3 word dragon shout anyway?

If telekinesis allowed you to knock people back and such it would give mages a way to knock their enemies back if they go too close, and it would allow you to use them on small groups at a time instead of needing to unleash your dragon shouts, or it would allow you to distract enemies or just beat them up using the environment, it would be good stuff

Will not, spells are static and uncustomizable in game they can only be improved with perks, dragon shouts has variable power and depend on number souls absorbed.
So dragon shout can be more powerful but it lack of other Telekinesis features like grabbing and holding items open from distant and trigger activators, basically fus ro dah just powerful push but power of push can become greater with larger number of souls absorbed.

I felt that you couldn't do anything with Telekinesis in Oblivion, it would be nice to add a little more depth in that type of spell

Utter bs. It was IMMENSELY useful.

You could use it to stack shelves that are too high.

I've found the telekinesis game in Oblivion basically totally useless. If we could throw opponents into the air for huge magica costs it would be great, instead of casting powerful fire spells we could force push or pull them down cliffs or high into the air :)

Screw Bioshock, make it almost exactly like Dark Messiah's telekinesis spell. The larger the item is, the more magicka is required to pick it up. Items you can pick up just go directly into your inventory, except for weapons, I say, because a TK-thrown claymore can certainly ruin someone's day. But you have to take perks and have a big mana pool and use both hands to throw the really huge stuff, like sarcophaguses and steam centurion corpses and such. You can pull out supports from across the room to drop stuff on enemies, pick keys off an enemy's belt, things like that. If they make it super-versatile then they'll give people a very good reason to use it.

as long as i can pull items to me and then launch them or set them down i will be fine. i would also want to be able to use it to distract enemies. like pick up a pebble and launch it into a wall on the other side of a guard so he could be like "what was that?" and then go investigate it.

also i think with a high pickpocket skill you should be able to steal from people at a distance. how cool would it be to take a bandits sword off his belt without him knowing it. then go up to him and draw you sword and watch his face flood with fear as he reaches for his weapon and finds that its not there and he's unarmed? that would be epic.
