Do you guys think that the Pre-Order bonus' outfits should c

This. Frankly the idea that people are considering these packs "ultra exclusive one time offers" is incredibly short-sighted. I have never seen a game offer something in a pre-order that was not eventually released to everyone else for a fee. SD can make profit off people who want the other skins but arent going to buy other copies of the game. What's the alternative? Throwing away the code because the game's been released?

I should also point out that, in general, Pre-Order "exclusives" are not usually downloadbale content, but rather content that is already on the disk but locked from you without the purchase code.

Capcom (yes, I like their titles) will do anything for a $. Fortunately for us, they release quality to earn those $$$. In regards to DeadRising2 (I presume you meant 2), Capcom execs have had animosity toward this IP (along with LostPlanet) since its inception. So it's no surprise they would milk it for everything it's worth. I don't see that happening with Bethesda and Brink. Also, the games weren't well recieved (not inferring they aren't good). Another reason to seek increased revenue through DLC with existing content. Why create something new when you can just sell what was free (although exclusive) to begin with?.

lol i would BUY for it becuz it worth the money idk y ppl r sayin there get it for free, and idc if the outfits would be in a bundle or bye them self i just want the Physco

I agree with this and its sarcasm granted i like the psycho pack.... and the kid who started this topic didn't check Amazon or the forums till now i guess? Anyway its to late this polls not going any were its been said that there's no thoughts on any DLC right now. In time we will probably get some DLC for multiplayer or more weapons and gear for our characters. But that's a long time off and we all have months and months of game to enjoy

dude i checked everywhere lol it made me mad that i couldnt find it but i looked

I don't see why people say it makes preordering pointless there are games that have no preorder bonuses. The point of preordering is cause you like it and have faith in the game and you want to play it as soon as it comes out and the pack is just incentive and a free bonus for for your support. If people love the game so much that they want to buy the item you got for free it doesn't take away from you, you got it for free. I understand once if they where to release them as dlc it might be bundled together into one pack which i don't like the idea of cause that does take away that bonus you got for preordering because if you want the others your paying for yours again.

TL:DR I'm all for the packs coming out as dlc as long as they are each separate.

100% argee cuz i only want the Fallout and the Pysco

I'm down for a future release of the pre-order dlc, obviously not released tomorrow, lmao, but in a few months. I agree with exclusivity, however I think at some point we should all be able to enjoy everything that the game has to offer. I'm a little bumbed that I couldn't reserve from STEAM but it's part of life and ended up reserving from Gamestop through trade-ins, lmfao.

And since I'm inlove with Brink I would support SD and in every decision they make, so if they release them, I will give them my money and buy them. :D

yeah i know, but like idont its just a question that i would like a anwser to, and the point of a pre-order is that u belive in the game and have trust in it and u like that game (like me) i could give a rats ass bout a pre-order cuz i didnt pre order it for the outfit i pre ordered the game cuz its bad ass. so there my anwser to ur question and anwser, to my question lol(i thank thats right)

Here's an anology...the beauty of spring has arrived and it's opening day at the pro ball park. Autographed team uniform shirts to the first 100 fans. See where I'm going with this? Now if I could sell you my exclusive pack, I would consider it. But that would infringe upon IP. In the anology, I'm rewarded for my loyalty to the team at the cost of boosting ticket sales for the GM. Same concept with video game pre-orders. It's a "thank you" from the people making a profit off of you and you contributing to easing their worries on meeting sale quotas. But a company that seeks to gouge its customers for everything they can, will release "exclusive" content later down the line to again increase revenue. Like I texted, I don't think Bethesda'll do that. But what do I know? I'm not them.

To a point I agree, but in the future you know that there would be additional or new "autographed team uniforms" to thank/raise money.

So in that aspect for future gains as with any company DLC/Expansions should be released. And in the same sense since more "autographed shirts become abundant" until the player retires/such, I believe in the release of the pre-orders as separate DLC packs either way, it does not matter to me, I will enjoy the game for what it is meant to be.

I am sorry to all those that believe that they should only have exclusivity to your pre-order packs, to a point I understand but to another point, it is selfish to not want anyone else to have those, and I believe that some don't keep an open mind and feel they shouldn't release DLC because Dev's just want more money for their "cash cow" -sigh- I am amazed at how some survive.

If any DLC isn't released, I'll still be find and get my money's worth out of this game, DLC increases re-playability even if it's just pre-order packs.

Hey guys, on the BethBlog Q&A page, there's a few posts by gstaff (You should know that name by now). Take a look at this one:

"@qliqQLAQ, these are pre-order bonuses only. We have no announced plans to sell them separately"

No longer are they saying "no plans" - now it's "no ANNOUNCED plans" - subtle hint much?

I think they'll be coming. I hope they won't be coming immediately though - I want to get a chance to play with my "exclusives" without everyone having a chance. I wouldn't object to them either being released more than a year down the track, or after a month or two for a token charge each - but DON'T package them all together for one price. If you pre-ordered, but want another pack, and have to RE-BUY A PACK YOU ALREADY OWN just to get what you want, that's not cool. (And yes, some companies actually do this)

Also, exclusives are exclusive DLC. Unless the pre-order edition is actually a different run of the game disc with the extra content included (hint: that would be more expensive to do, so they won't). You have to go online and download (and yes, it's usually just an unlock code for data that's on the disc, but without DOWNLOADING that code, the extras won't be accessible). That means it's already DLC.

Can people stop saying "make the DLC into DLC" simply because they don't get what DLC is? Please?

The new "uniforms" would be offered at other games...that would be anologous to the release of new titles with their own exclusive content

DLC equates to cards, hats, vendor goods, snacks, etc.

It's not selfish, it's the nature of open market economics. EVERY offer from ANY company has an expiration to their promotions. If a person missed out on the promotion, should the company bring it back just to appease those who didn't care to support it in the first place and missed out? If they want increased profits, yes. If they want to show customer appreciation, no.

If any DLC isn't released, I'll still be find and get my money's worth out of this game, DLC increases re-playability even if it's just pre-order packs.
Agreed on DLC increasing re-playability. But just how much will appearance tweaks affect re-playability? My concern with the exclusive content one day being available to all is that people who'll eventually buy this title will get the same equipment as me. 2 exclusive guns and attachments are available with these promotions (even though these'll probably be minor advantages if at all). And more than likely, when they decide to buy the game, it'll be cheaper than when I bought it. So in essence I'm paying for exclusive content anyway and only getting the perk of being able to play the game earlier. If this is the case, I wouldn't have pre-ordered and just waited to pick it up retail and possibly used for even less.

I don't need to be the kid on the block who gets all the new *censored*. In fact, I'm the one usually robbing him and beating his *censored* for acting so smug in the first place. But I also know how it feels to be the kid on the block with the object of everyones' envy. So, since I'm the kid with the new *censored* everyone wants, come take it from me. Otherwise, kick rocks. And if one day Bethesda does release the exclusive items via (paid) DLC...been there, done that.
