Books, books, books

Hello Lore Forum,

Some time ago I created PDF versions of a few books from the Elder Scrolls universe (text from http://www.imperial-library.info/) with simple, nice cover pages, and I wanted to share them on here with anyone who was interested. Thing is: I don't know how to include/upload files onto the forum. I compiled three series' (2920, The Last Year of the First Era; A Dance in Fire; The Real Barenziah [Morrowind edition]) and three stories (Feyfolken; Immortal Blood; The Black Arrow) for fun, easy reading on my iPad (hate if you want, but it's a great device). It's not that it's difficult to make these sorts of things on one's own, but I wanted to see if there was an easy way for me to post the fruits of my labor here for you all.

If we can't figure a way, how about at least some suggestions for future reading?

The forum doesn't allow direct uploads. You have to upload it to a hosting site, like Megaupload, RapidShare, or Dropbox, and then paste the link here.

In a similar vein, I believe I had a nicely organized and illustrated 36 Lessons of Vivec PDF lying around.

And I'd love if you could find a way to get that illustrated Lessons PDF! Sounds cool!

I don't know why, but in that format, I feel like it needs pictures. Also, the white background for the text is kinda jarring after the nice red and gold. Perhaps find some kind of not-ugly parchment paper background? Of course, then again, I haven't even seen an iPad up close, so I wouldn't know how it might look in that format.

Also, could you do The Argonian Account? I've been meaning to find an excuse to read the whole thing and this might be the kick in the jowels I need to actually do it.

I know what you mean about the white background. I would prefer a kinder, off-white color as well, but unfortunately the way I do the background colors is too impractical to implement for every page of the text: it would require that I address each page one by one, making the right-colored shape into the correct dimensions to fill up every background of each page :(

It was my first time too. One of the better written series, definitely.
