BRINK HAS BECOME RESTRICTED IN RUSSIA

brink is going to be localized in Russia by some company like 1C
that means separate maintenance and servers...also outdated...
knowing 1C this means that Russians won't be able to properly play multiplayer, as 1C now even slows down patch release in Steam for their versions
and as always stupid voice acting by stupid voice actor with text-to-speech program intonation in stupid basemant instead of hi-quality studio

i want to pay my money for normal original working product!
any options buying normal uk/us version?
please comment

I think your best bet is to get the UK/US version as a disk off of eBay or something, instead of buying it off of Steam. You might still run into some problems with multiplayer though.

Can we get some info why Russian gamers cant buy Brink via Steam? I dont want to play again with horrible localization by 1C company. And most of al I dont want to have another brainloving like COD-style (to play this game in Russia firts of all u will need to buy retail version by 1C, then install it on Russian language (horrible fonts, voices, etc.) and then download English version of COD from some torrent trackers so u will be able replace the files).

Why isn't it allowed in Russia? I don't see why not, if it's coming out in Australia.

More weird [censored]. This ranks up there with the town in the us/canada border where a guy needs a passport to get to his mailbox weird.

If its not available in your region you could pirate it. If you can buy it then don't pirate it that would be bad.
