could someone please point me to the right place to find a mod that does away with some or most of the free food in the game

your help is appreciated as I have searched for one for a while now without any success

I've found after trying a immersion, hunger, and thirst mods that the function of these mods are completely undercut by the absolute derth and overabundance of food and drink.

These kinds of mods do make sense in fallout though where food can be more difficult to come by.

[edit] oh and sorry for got you want help - I'd recommend http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=28010 which will remove things like food out of barrels in caves and dungeons.

And I've not tried it but http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5065 might at least replace foods that are found in certain places with rotten food.
