Brink's Au release is on the 12th I believe, and just 2 days from launch. My brother "accidentally" kicked in my disc tray and now it's in crooked. And to make things worse, I've got to wait weeks maybe for the repair and L.A. Noire which I've payed off too is released on the 23rd. 13 days till that launched too and I've had to pay for the repair with my final payment for both games.

Good luck with that bro I know when I was waiting for Call of Duty: Black Ops, about a week before release I got the red ring of death. I took it to this place next town over and it was fixed in less than a day!

I'm just telling you my story, but honestly best of luck and hope to see you out there on the battlefield soon.

In the U.S. we have local guys that make these repairs, and very cheap too. If you have Craigslist in AU I would try a search and see if you can shorten the down time.
