IGN are given like, thousands of dollars so pop in a few good words for their reviews. That's why they're more forgiving than other reviewers. Gamespot, Machinima, Edge, GameInformer and some others all give good reviews and actually look into their critisisms of games.
I've been thinking about this for a bit now, and i think the fella that reviewed it for IGN didn't want the job. It sounds like he was just handed the game and more than likely wasn't interested in it from the beginning.
I'm more or less just bumping this, since there are a ba-zillion posts about negative reviews, and a post that features one of the more positive views should be kept afloat and discussed.
