Post » Mon Jan 03, 2011 10:22 pm

Hello All

First i will tell you that i m new to this forum and can not wait till Brink commes out.

But i was looking for info on the Brink website about a pre-order a 24 slot Brink gameserver.
And have not found it on her. Then i had a go on the internet but found all kind of things but nothing good.
So if you know more, will you please leave a replay behind

In forword Thx

It's probably a scam - Brink has a maximum of 16 slots, not 24.

:talk: A oke so its going to be a 16 slot then.but still can you pre-order a gameserver for it allready or not.
And then the one we found on the internet is not correct then because you can go up to 32 slots.
Hmmm any one know how long its going to take to get one.

All the big PC server providers (like I3D) haven't heard anything yet about possible server files for BRINK. You're going to have to wait on that first.

@Rammite

I'm not sure how this will play out, but depending on the amount of power the server owner gets, server maximums can be anywhere from 10-54 slots.
PC obviously.

Jus sayin.

They are referring to the number of people who can play on the server. As well as finding a company to host their server for them so they can run a private game of Brink over the Internet.

Already contacted them, they have no news on Brink support. They will support it if Brink allows different server companies to host..

You know if the console companies would allow open access to the sourceware to private developers gamers could have their own dedicated servers?

You'll see them all pop up when the server files are released. Allegedly, that should be this week. SD have confirmed end of last week they are sorting out the Linux server files as the interview happened :)

Obviously, this is for PC only. As for console servers, as far as I know, nothing is planed.

Mostly what PEZ said. I recall something about them trying to release the files for servers (PC side), the day before the game releases.
