Yes, yes. I want this to be a separate thread for ideas and suggestions on the different type of armor/ weapons you could get in Skyrim. I say this because in Oblivion, the idea of glass armor was, no offense, but the stupidest idea I think ever thought of. It didn't look good or make any sense come to think of it. Daedric armor was alright, made sense and looked pretty evil if you were a warlord or somebody evil but the fact that it WAS the best armor you could get in game and you had no choice what so ever to get it as a heavy armor wearer before the expansions was [censored] in regards of you could be like a Paladin or some melee fighter that uses heavy armor but would have to run around looking like Hades when you want to look like a divine knight was unbelievably unsatisfying to the eye and motive to play the game. We need more options, like I mean a lot more options. Maybe 18 to 24 instead of like 8. We need armor and weapons from Obsidian, Titanium, Aluminum, Adamantite to the basic Steel and Leather armor/weapons. Those are just a few that I named and if I can name 4 or 5 good ones, Bethesda should be able to name another 12 really good ones but there are so many other types you guys could implement in the game that makes sense and improves the game, unlike the glass armor and weapons. We can now smith in Skyrim but another question that aroused in me was, Are we going to be able to smith the best armor in the game or is it going to be like in Oblivion where you can only obtain the armor and weapons.
They are implementing Blacksmithing into the game so they better make it worth doing. (Being able to forge really good armor and weapons.) Also if we could forge good armor and weapons maybe we have the options to change the look a little.
Also please make the weapons look epic and not dumb like the silver long sword where it only looked like one piece of metal. I hope they make the swords, axes, bows, war hammers, staves, etc. not only have wooden handles and maybe some ropes tied around the handle or bottom of the blade, but stick some jewels in the handles of some or maybe some in the blades instead of the handles. This idea would not only bring spark to the game but give the player a unique and satisfying feeling that they are different with what they wield and use to fight with, which all adds to the motive of playing the game and like towards it.
There is so much that Bethesda could do with this game to make it better and I hope that if they read this it will give them some tips and maybe improvments to the game itself.
Expand, suggest, agree, disagree on this thread about these ideas. Argue ideas and improve them too.
