So yeah, turned out i had a good enough PC to run brink, and i could also afford brink through steam.
I have converted, i still have brink on xbox. BUT NOW I HAVE IT ON PC TOO!!!!

Erm, i haven't got the DLC key yet, but i did pre-purchace (same as pre-order) I guess they will email it to me before release.

Edit: One of my friends just said its linked to your accounts so should be available to download/use from the moment you start the game.

But at least the good thing is - Were not living through all this drama + performance issues + lag + stability problems....etc that all the US are.

Hopefully by friday there will be a good fix! and some things resolved.

yes there is a really good chance of that

if you goto the game store it has the countdown to the decryption...by store i mean, steam's store, brinks page.

mine i think will unlock when yours does...which it shouldn't but it may be a blessing in disguise.

essentially you should be able to pre load brink from the library page, have it all loaded and ready to install. then when that counter hits zero...press pla now and wait for the files to decrypt. install. then launch. fairly painless most of the time

this just shows how some ppl realy are looking forward to this game.
inconsistent reviews some of them so bad you wouldnt use brink as a door stop,
others the way the community expected them to be.

hey guys i have it for pc 2...about the unlock:

if you are in the UK you can unlock it by login in a vpn account as me...i am on an american server, when u do so, there is no key provided, it unpacks the game automatically and you can play
downside if you log off the vpn steam doesnt allow you to play anymore even after unpacking...also playing with vpn is awfull cause of the ping..but at least you will be able to try a bit to see if it runs well on your pc

If you want to check out the DLC that you have for a game, go to your library, right click the game, and the select "View Downloadable Content." It should come up with the Brink Doom pack if you pre-ordered. Also, all DLC is automatically installed in the game. Not like Xbox at all in this regard.

Hmmm, i had a look but i cannot see a "View downloadable Content" option. I guess its cause i'm still pre-loading, i was playing TF2 all day so i haven't pre-loaded it yet I'm doing that overnight. Also maelstrom if you are on PC wannna hit me up on steam? I could always use more brink friends.
