I love the game, truth be told. Though, despite my love, I'd give it an 8.5. Why? Because the blur and non-loading graphics on the Xbox 360 is a major turn off. I know this so called "day 1 patch" is going to resolve the issue, though day 1 is almost over and no patch in sight.

A small 3MB goes live when starting Brink up for the first time. However, if that was this so-called day 1 patch, it did little to nothing in the graphical department. (I'm not to sure about networking issues because I haven't played online yet). (Though... If it didn't fix the graphics that much, I doubt the networking is any better).

The 3mb patch is "the day-release patch" surely. The fact that it hasn't sorted it out for the XBOX is alarming.

Looking at a few websites that show the difference between XBOX and PS3 graphics, I'm glad I'm a PS3 player.

Thank you! I've been waiting for just a general "Self Review" thread to pop up as I was far too busy scavenging all the other threads for player feedback to make one myself. Hopefully this takes off: On the fence people such as myself rely on these poster responses to get an accurate feel of the title.

Off topic: If the patch didnt solve the graphic issues this may be a problem for 360ers... still I'll have to investigate myself :3

Which isn't a good thing. When the 360 has ~210k pre-orders.

Seems PC is the best choice for Brink at the moment, PS3ers cant go online and 360ers have graphical hiccups... /:3

The graphics are the least of my concerns honestly. As long as the gameplay is smooth and I can play online against humans without lag, then I'm set.

Steam version, not bad, I had fun last night, but please, give us adjustable Field Of View in a patch, not a console command.
