Daedric Quests

Honestly, I think each Daedra should be their own mini-faction, in which the character takes maybe five or six quests from one of the priests for that particular Daedra before getting to actually talk to the god itself.

I don't know, it just seemed kind of weird that in the past games you had these guys out there every day worshiping statues, then you come along and the god decides that you're special or worthy enough to go on a quest and receive some powerful artifact.

I mean, if I were one of the guys standing there worshiping day in and day out, then some random adventurer walks up and starts talking to your god like they're old pals or whatever... yeah, I totz wouldn't stand for that.

Spend every day of my life worshiping and making offers Hircine, this random guy just shows up some day with some pelts, and Hircine tells him he gets to hunt down the last unicorn.

Dude, I would have hunted that unicorn if you asked me to, I wouldn't have even asked for a reward.

But hey, yeah, totally ignore me and let this random adventurer do it. No, I totally understand. He had pelts. :mellow:

Good idea, but the rewards should be better to match the extra effort.

This is a hint from Bethesda. They don't want to be worshipped, they want pelts!

Yeah you make a good point, but if that were the case I'd expect a lot of rewards. Maybe a whole set of items, or some unique spells.

Maybe sheogorath would give you a spell that casts the wabajack effect, and maybe one that would cause the enemy to "go mad" for a few seconds, which could be anything from being rendered useless because of the madness to fighting on your side? Or perhaps he could give a set of items with some other unique effects.
