hi there I'm just wondering could an Imperial( or any other human race) and a Khajiit(or a Argonian) have a relationship.

If anyone asks why I'm asking its because I'm thinking of a story to write on the forum and the main character a imperial falls in love with a Khajiit so yeah that's it.

They can have six. Can they produce offspring? Currently, unknown, but surmised to be a no.

Also, the Khajiit run the gambit of looking like a house cat, a giant tiger on all fours that's taller than a horse, human and mer-like, to what you have seen in the games.

We have this thread pretty regularly. I believe we had one fairly recently. The short answer to the question "can different races breed?" is yes. Most of them are genetically compatible, it would seem.


Every species of Elf including Orcs can interbreed with any other. Every species of Human can likewise do the same, and any combination of Human and Elf works.

It's possible to have sixual relations with an Argonian or Khajiit, but there's no strong evidence that having offspring is possible with those two species, except amongst their own kind. Their biology is unique and different. Khajiit may or may not be related to Elves in some way, but it would appear they've changed so drastically if that's the case that offspring may be impossible. Argonians are probably the most "alien" race of all on Tamriel. They're more closely related to the Hist than any other living sapient race, and the Hist are from a different world from Elves and Men entirely.

Yes, of course they can. There are many references in lore to six between Khajiit and other races, and in romantic relationships. It's not entirely unheard of. It's mentioned in the book series 2920 and also The Real Barenziah. I can name those two off the top of my head but I'm sure if you read enough in game books you'll find others.
