Mystic Emporium never opens for business, any help solving this?

it has something to do with DLCs Google is your friend (sorry I can't be of more help)

Well i searched on google and there is a problem with Battlehorn DLC, but there is one problem.. i don't use it. So the problem they are describing it's not the same as i have.

I think the problem is fixed in the unofficial Oblivion Patches. I downloaded those and it fixed it.

As i said before.. it's not the same bug. Only similar.

- If i open door via console or picklocking or spell it's still considered trespass.
- if i leave the store the door is automatically closed.

the guilty is without a doubt frostcrag, but what puzzles me is i'm using unofficial patch and the bug persists in any combination i try unless i disable it completely. I'm out of ideas. :violin:

I use Frostcrag without the UOP for it and don't have this problem unless another mod changes something in the Mystic Emporium as well.Use TES4Edit or Wrye Bash to see what else in your load order modifies the Mystic Emporium. Whatever it is was probably an unintentional edit (many of mods are full of them). Once you find it (if there's anything to find), you can use Wry Bash or TES4Edit to clean it up.

This is what I was thinking!

Calindil can get killed...finally used the console to find him once upon a time (after trying every fix I could dig up)...floating in a canol, face down. I spent 2 evenings trying to *fix* something that wasn't broken...at least not the way I thought, when the truth was he had died in my game. Used the good ol console ressurection spell and teleported him home. :hehe:

My guess is marauding dremora from Enhanced Daedric Invasion after I triggered the main quest (I used to actually play the main quest :wink_smile: ). I still keep EDI in my load order because I really like the guards drilling in the mornings in each city...but I need to make a patch for EDI...those guards need capes!
