I have 6 friends who have the game and while the lag was bad we couldn't figure out how to get into games online. SO, how do we do it?

Join session in progress is one way. Haven't really tried though.

The fact they want you to play as a team and then don't let you just join with a group is probably the dumbest thing I've ever heard of. It's stupid in any game let a lone one that promotes teamwork. I'm sure in 5 minutes there will be 10 posts on here telling me to go back to CoD though because this is all part of Brink's awesomeness.

I agree. As much as I love the game and it's mechanics, I have to admit that some silly decisions were made with joining/starting online games.

It kind of seems like in the pursuit to distance themselves from everything else ever created, they went out of their way and ended up scrapping a lot of what other games got right :lmao:

I can only answer for the 360...make sure everyone is in the same party, ONE person selects the game style (campaign, freeplay or challenge) when you get the the cut screen press "B" buttton and on the near bottom side of the menu you select "invite party to game" it's that easy...oh FYI Challenge in MP is gonna be a challenge no bots at all in MP just you and your team...campaign or freeplay would be my suggestion to start.

This game is not like any other FPS...it is challenging in some aspects so be patient. I got to play a wee bit this morning before I went to sleep in prep for work(graveyards ugh) but already got a toon to lvl6 and unlocked some weapons in one person challenge(easy to do), some ppl have lag but i haven't while playing co-op campaign the enemy AI is a beast at times so don't just rush head on to them( ala CoD) that will fail, be creative and try things. just my personal opinion.

I'll give that a whirl, hopefully it works if so I"m much happier than I was, the lag would be the only remaining issue and that meh, all fps early seem to suffer.
