Similiarities Between Dark Tower and The Elder Scrolls Lore?

Post » Wed Feb 02, 2011 12:53 pm

Does anyone notice a similiarity between that in The Dark Tower, there are numerous guardians protecting the beams into the dark tower at the center, forming a wheel shape, if you will. While in TES, towers also form a wheel, with White-Gold in the center.

Both wheels have a massive effect on the stability of their universes. The Dark Tower wheel holding the very fabric of the world together, when the beams start to snap the world begins to unravel. While with The Elder Scrolls, it's a similiar story.

Does anyone here believe the theory that the Dark Tower and Elder Scrolls universes may in fact me.... ONE AND THE SAME. It's 5am and my brain is overworked, and the idea just came to me. What do you think?

I think that the Elder Scrolls universe and that from the movie http://www.imdb.com/video/screenplay/vi1805910297/ are the same, don't know about Dark Tower.

They are the same, but not the one.

Arena and D&D were basically the same, save for lore. D&D has no lore, you make it yourself.

Robes, or the skin morphing armor? I've never read Dark Tower. I should, I suppose.

D&D has lore. Lots of it. I'm aware it's based around "make your own adventure" but it still have lots of lore. Especially considering there are multiple campaign settings.

D&D worlds have lore, but the game itself is loreless. Forgotten Realms, Grayhawk, Darksun, all have lore, but are all D&D specific?
