Soaked armor.

You wanna know what I found funny in OB? Is that when I came out of the water from swimming in Heavy armor I didn't appear to be wet, not one bit. Not only that. But I could also jump normally as if I were drier than warm wool blankets. I could still shoot Electricity from my very hands while underwater; But I would still take fire normally. Is there any word on being wet affecting gameplay? I shouldn't be able to shoot electricity out of my hands while wet without being hurt! And I shouldn't be able to jump like Bugs Bunny with water trapped under my glass suit of armor! And I should certainly look wet.
I think that if your wet, Frost and Shock damage should magnify while Fire damage is less effective. And your acrobatics should be less effective. This could add more immersion and "Amphibious tactics". Probably a great use for Water walking.

Magicka actually has this. If you try to cast Electric spells while wet you hurt yourself.

Assassin's Creed II has a great wet clothes effect.

I thought I remembered being told I couldn't use ranged spells underwater last time I tried.

I thought glass was light armour? /nitpick.
Most definitely would be a plus, but I highly doubt it, though.

edit:nvm

Not terribly important but it would definitely add to the game to see your character get wet.

Its not electricity though. Its shock.
I think I'd be more angry than happy if it was included, its a game. I can Rp that I can't do that if I want. It'd just be inconvenient. But overall, I don't care.

If you are swimming about in heavy armor you have more problems to worry about other than wanting to see it wet.

Except glass, and most other armors have chain undercoating, so water drains out faster. Leather or fur on the other hand, I would be worried then.

And who says wet cloths should weigh you down? Ive been drenched many times and its never hindered my ability to jump. Being wet is not the same as carrying a 10 gallon container of water.

Water should appear as an item in your inventory when you are wet. It would encumber you but would gradually decrease until it has been completely evaporated.
