Any news on when the sequal to The Infernal City will be out?? I hope these are the first of many TES novels!

I wonder if it will coincide with the release of the game.

Don't know if this is the right forum, but at any rate IIRC, Mr. Keyes has sent his (second?) draft to Bethesda for review, meaning if all goes well, it'll be published some time next year. I imagine it'll be before Skyrim... I'm thinking May or June.

Yeah, it seems that we'll get a bunch of news/hype about it soonish, a little trickle until E3, then the book'll sustain the fan-boys (like us) for a while until they start doing release hype.

I still need to read his first. I've been away from TES for too long.

I haven't read Infernal City either, to be honest.

But if possible, I wouldn't be surprised if Bethesda hopes to get the book published either around Skyrim's release date, or some time before, as it would seem that both products could end up creating hype for each other. When people just read or are reading an Elder Scrolls book and there happens to be a new Elder Scrolls game coming out, they might just decide to get the game too, and similarly, when more information of Skyrim starts to be released, I'm sure it will call much attention to the series, which could also mean more sales for the book. But I suppose we'll find out what will really happen in time.

It would seem odd if the 2nd book came out after the game is released :huh:
