I know Beth is toying with the companion mechanics a bit, so I might save my companions for someone targeted towards specific skill sets. I would either free the slave or use him as a pack mule like I did in Fallout.
That's no reason not to have any of your own. Neither for slavery to exist at all.
I admit that the only place where I'd have no morals is in a land where I wouldn't have faith in humanity anymore. But luckily Tamriel isn't post-apocaliptic Earth.
Are you a seer, for deciding what are people capable of handling or not?
And anyways, if you're so kind of freeing him, you may as well pointt him in the correct way. Or contract him to *legally* work for you. Or make him your companion. There are a lot of options avaliable, not to rely on slavery. Much less if it's forced and non-desired.
Slavery is wrong. Period. I think it's one of those things in life where no arguments can be done to justify it. Because it's just simply impossible to justify it.
just a suggestion...lets not start an arguement over a hypothetical...just saying...
i would hold a lottery and kill a slave randomly if they lost. i would make them fight to the death with each other with rusty weapons. the occasional drowning.
