I'd like to make a thread regarding the few fellas in here (no names), that keep spamming every topic about how bad Brink is.

Since I'm new to any sort of forum based gaming community, I ask this in all honesty.
What is it about? Why do they make so much noise?

Please don't take any offense from this post, as it is NOT an attempt to start a flame-war or anything like it. This whole phenomenon just seem very odd to me, and I'd like to have it explained.

dont be so sad. i am pretty sure they used to be excited about brink before it came out just like u and i but.....its just not what they have expected...
i am a lil disappointed to be honest but i still have faith in splash damage fixing the problem in the coming weeks.
however anyone know what splash damage have been doing the pass few days??? no patch anoucement?

Some people get overly aggressive with their negative opinions when something they expected to be the second coming of Chuck Norris or something turns out to be less than their (usually unreasonable) expectations.

The easiest way to vent is to go somewhere they'll never have to answer for their actions and let the rage run wild. I've heard rumours that the internet is a great place for that. Some silly lines about "anonymity" or something come to mind...

for pc I am extremely happy with Brink so far and look forward to what Splash Damage does with DLC and upcoming patches. Still hoping for SDK

Brink (PC) is much more polished and playable on day 1 than many other pc games have been: anything from Epic Games ( UT3, Bulletstorm), Black Ops...

Hating on a new game isnt original to Brink, go to any game devs forums after they release a game and ALL you will see is [censored]ing. Good thing is that if these people truly hate the game they will be gone soon and take their whining with them



Patch 1 request: Server History in browser... please

There are a collection of people that feel that the game is not entirely what was "promised" to them.

The A.I. should be collecting disability, the weapons are substantially more powerful than some around here believed they would be, the mechanics are a little slower than some might be used to, and there are a handful of other issues that some may feel bring the game down.

The issues are there and so it is the buyer's right to have an opinion on them and complain about them. Why everybody needs to spam the boards with thread after thread of single opinions is beyond me, but it doesn't make the opinions less valid.

We don't really need any thread complaining about the complainers.
