Skyrim is not the America of anywhere. Any discussion to the contrary is verging on political debate and/or irrelevant real-life political history. Read what's in the game, novels, and lore to find out what Skyrim may or may not do based on canon TES history, but please do not bring up any relation to America or any other country to spare us the headache of arguing and having a mod shut down this thread.
