Somebody told me that I can have more than one character. Is this true? If so, how do I create a new one?

Hit character button... Then create new...

You can have up to ten, each one with a security and a resistance side. And i'm not sure the correct way, but you could always just keep re-starting the campaign, and creating them from there?
