ok there is alot of hating going around, me personally i love the game its addicting its fun reminds me a bit of team fortress 2, and yes there are a few bugs to work out ( hence the hardware/software problems section on the forums). But please i would wait until at least the third patch before you give up on this game, personally i am just thankful that in this day and age we are able to do patches for games that have potential.

Anyway that is my two sense, and you can comment back and "flame" me as much as you want but just remember opinions are like a holes just because you smelled mine doesnt mean i have to smell yours.

Most game have alot more then 3 patches, but I competely agree with you, people are mad because there are problems, there are always problems when a new game let alone a new IP come out.

Exactly. Years ago Patches and DLCs were not around so you always had to "just deal" with the bad game. The game IS great, it IS addicting. I am stuck at work right now wanting nothing more than to go home and play some more.

I would like to see more items, attachements, abilities, and maybe weapons though.. List was kinda short and I expected much more..

Games should not be broken on release.

Being able to patch a game post-release has made developers lazy. They don't need to playtest as well because the community who pre-orders their games (because otherwise they wouldn't get the exclusive content, which I'm also against) will find bugs and the word will get around on the internet. Then the developer fixes it, often creating new problems (see latest New Vegas patch) and the cycle continues. Of course, I'm not a game developer so this is pure speculation; however I do believe that this is a real trend.

Being able to patch a game post-release should not mean that a game releases with glaring issues, such as texture pop-in (or not popping in at all) or horrible net coding.

I am not thankful that in this day and age patches are so readily available. I'd rather have a game delayed a year than receive constant patches throughout that year.

everyone just paid 60 bucks for a game that does not work 95% of the time, it is unacceptable and downright wrong, the patch had better be done in a couple of days tops or I hope Bethesda loses a crap ton of business in the future

I would not call this game broken. There are problems i can agree with all that. The main problems are not game breakers but are just kinda annoying to say the least.
I haven't seen anything that gets in my way of playing yet.
The main thing i would like fixed is a system that find games or players closer to your area so lag isn't a huge problem. Some games i get into hard just harsh to play because of this. (talking console since its P2P)

Should not use everyone. That means all. I paid for the game and it works 100% of the time.

Hey everyone should take a look at test drive unlimited 2. The devs take forever to give info or feedback on the problems and concerns. The patches took anywhere from a month to 2 monthes for major fixes for a game that probably should have not even released yet.

Couple of problems here. First is the fact that we need people to join to express the problems they are having with their games or the things they don't like. How could solutions to problems ever be addressed if nobody told anyone something was wrong.

Secondly, we don't allow folks to make threads to complain about complainers and that sounds like what you were doing.

Had you just left it at "Let's give them a chance", to make things right" that may have been able to stay open but even that is doubtful because then folks would still start posting about complainers (who we like to listen to).

So, in the end....this thread is dead. :spotted owl:
