post deleted cause i was just raging, the game is fun i just wish the release had been a bit better. It just svcks when you drop cash and take time off from doing other things (work) to play a game then have it be unplayable to a certain extent. Yes i know SP and CO-OP work and what not but MP was what i really got the game for.

I did a game with 7 of my friends going co-op through the campaign and we barely had lag.

2. I don't know what you're reffering to, the game seems to be working perfectly fine for me. Are you a PC gamer? Perhaps your computer isn't up to par with Brink's requirements.

Actually sir, the whole point of the game is NOT multiplayer. Did you know, before the 360 and PS3 people actually played games SINGLE PLAYER? Like, with a STORY! Redonkulous, I know, but it's true!
One of the big things about this game is that your character can be leveled up through Solo and/or Multiplayer, and that it easily enables multiplayer co-op to those missions. To me this doesn't imply that it's supposed to only be multiplayer, in fact I've hardly played Multiplayer since I bought it.
I guess I'll have to play more Multiplayer in order to understand what you're talking about a little better, but from what I have tried it seems to be working as intended. I really see nothing wrong with this game, I can't help but think that maybe one of us has clouded judgement. Perhaps I like the game so much and hyped it up to myself so much that it can do no wrong, or perhaps the game didn't live up to your specific expectations in one or more areas and you're judging it a little harshly. I like to take a step back and appreciate things though, and I think that's what I've done; everything they've said it would be, it is. They delivered what they said they were going to, and I expected nothing more.
Now I'm not saying that's for sure how you feel, just speaking hypothetically, but if the game's not for you then why worry about it? Trade it in for a game you would rather have. Or maybe you shouldn't have bought it right away, and should have waited to see gameplay footage to make a better decision on whether or not the game was for you.

No one's making you play/keep this game.

Anyways I'm kind of regretting making this topic, i almost didn't its just hard for me to have spent 60 bucks and taken time off work only to not be able to enjoy this game. I like it don't get me wrong I am not going to be returning it or anything just wishing launch had been better. Just extremely frustrated and what not, anyways sorry everyone just had a little nerd rage going feel free to lock this topic if a mod wants to.

Well, your opening post seems to imply otherwise. You said "there's no reason a game should be released this broken", well we're just giving examples of other "broken" games.
Also, if it's lag you're worried about, then perhaps you should give Solo a go, it's fun and it plays the same as multiplayer! I really suggest it, until these lag problems can be worked out!

SD would like to get some sort of constructive criticism. Just saying, "the game is broken and I'm not going to play it" doesn't solve anything, Splash Damage believe it or not knows about the lag and are trying to fix it. I don't know why everyone feels the need to tell SD about their lag horror stories..... I think they know the lag is bad........

yeah i know the game is fun i really liked playing solo for a bit and going through the challenges, im just frustrated thats all i deleted my previous posts because they are nonconstructive. Anyways again sorry for the harshness i was just upset at the current state of MP.
