What's your reason for not wanting a higher level of customi

..I don't think there is anyone who doesn't want more customization. If you notice, we complain, a lot, about how much was taken out of Morrowind. We didn't like/want it, Beth just kind of "did" it without taking into consideration anyone who buys their games.
We DO want Morrowinds level of customization.

To be honest I'd prefer much *more* customization than morrowind.

What I think is the problem, is there there are a lot of casual player who can't be bothered to spend much time in fx finding that much gear, so they actually want less cusomtization and stuff like the magical compass so the game is easier to sit down and play. This sadly ruins it for the rest of us who enjoy spending hour on the deeper elements like looking for those odd hidden caves, or finding that one last piece of deadric armor.

I like Customization for a whole lot of things. The only reason I wouldn't want more Customization is if it hurts gameplay. It doesn't matter how awesome the character looks if the Gameplay svcks.

I'm hopeing for more options in Skyrim and I think that might happen.

The only use for full set of armor is displaying it behind a glass stand, mismatched armor is much more fun.
Anyway i pass 99,99% of the time 1 srt view.

There s a ton of people that cry agaisnt more customization in the objects, on the gameplay, everywhere.
They don t know but what they really want is Elder Scroll falling back to arcade Castelvania.

I suspect that the best solution is to allow for as much customization as you can afford, or perform, and make it logarithmically costly as you up the enchantment.

IOW, any dolt can make glow in the dark underwear, and at a reasonable price. However, if you want a constant effect chameleon spell on a plain shirt, you should be allowed, but you had better be rich and powerful. I would even do away with the enchantment caps on items. If you really want a lower class pair of socks with CE water walking, I don't see what the problem should be. It would make things interesting.

Imagine walking into a shop with absurdly poor looking clothes, but getting respect because the owner can tell your outfit is enchanted beyond belief (or finding out the hard way)

I don't understnad the complaints about enchantment stacking. Just give armor enchantment values again, and then only high-level armor, and, thus, high-level characters, will be able to get poweful enchantments.

I'm actually fairly convinced by the pictures that we've seen that the level of customization will be equal to or higher than Morrowind. It looks like some items can exist in layers, ie, either above OR below other items. I imagine some items will be locked into place (like you can't wear a shirt over a cuirass) but maybe you could wear a robe either over or under it.
