Am I the only one happy with..

not having any kind of new info at all?

Since I stopped logging into this forums so frequently, time seems to fly, it's already 8 months to go...

So no new info gives me no reason to think about the game ... so the waiting goes faster, and the hype isn't killing me ... at least until E3..

You guys should try it, or am Am I committing some kind of heresy?

You did what I did. You spent your time wisely playing other games, making new friends, working your job (if you have one), living life instead of being svcked into the speculation. I've been checking back periodically, seeing if any official information has been released. Since there has been some media, I've been around daily, looking for the next set of info, sometimes posting to a thread, but never spending more than 20 minutes here.

No, you're good.

i was kinda like that when everyone was speculating that skyrim would be the next game. i kinda just kept my mind off it, played fallout 3 and most of the expansions, focused on work, and band lol and then when the announcement came, that was the most amazing thing ever!

No, I know what you mean. I only look in on the forums occasionally. Besides, with no new info, it seems most threads anymore are just rehashing old info or ideas or just plain bickering. You aren't really missing anything.

If i rebember properly of the "pre-launch period" of Oblivion, we will see new screenshots from Skyrim soon (in the end of the month i believe), but a new video-gameplay only after a certain time (maybe 2 months from here), But i'm not happy with that... I want now, please!!!

Obviously I could be highly mistaken if this time BS does not follow the pattern they had with Oblivion (so, PLEASE, no hurt me!!! )

Anyway, tomorrow i will get a new game i order (S2 TW), so i hope my hunger for Skyrim will be somehow a little satisfied with ninja fights....

Kill the wise one! I will smash your skull like a clam on my tummy!

Ha! You are truly a wise man . . . or woman. . . whatever. Coming to the forums everyday can be fun, but if you are here solely for daily information then you end up with speculation and misinformation. I have done the same thing. 3 days a week for an hour I troll around and burn kids =)

i visit the skyrim forums every day for a lurk, but mostly i check the morrowind ones (yes i still play it, how could i not xD) the oblivion general, and the hints and tips one. the lack of skyrim info doesnt really matter to me, in fact i probably wont even watch the gameplay video, and i more than likely wont buy skyrim until the GOTY edition comes out.

edit: skyrim forums.

How long was it since the Oblivion announcement and the launch?
I found out about it 2 weeks before it came out, so the waiting was nothing...

Don't worry, if not following the game makes things easier for you, that's you're choice to make. For me, my anticipation of Skyrim is probably too strong to not want new information every so often, so I can't take pleasure in the lack of it, I'm afraid.
