Not willing to wait for multiple patches to fix the numerous issues with this game. LA Noire is looking better and better each day.

Ok bye! Maybe you should just wait like mostly everyone else and stop complaining about it. No game is perfect at release and I'm sure L.A Noire won't be much different.

C'mon, get over yourself. This game is unappealing on all fronts.

Teammate AI is dumb as dirt while enemy AI is competent, so Single Player is a tedious task.

Can't play Versus Campaign because of Lag.

Can't play Multiplayer because of Lag.

There's too much effort to try and enjoy this game anymore. I'm baffled how they thought this game was good enough to be released early.

Are you honestly that ignorant to game design? If you want to talk X360 only titles, at least 75% of the games have shipped without any networking issues, and I would venture a guess at saying 99% of them at least ship in a playable state. The game, currently, is unplayable. Secondly, L.A. Noire will have no MP component so it will have 0 bugs and issues that deal with networking. Please try again...

I am willing to bet LA is 10x better in content and playability at release. This game was over hyped and under produced.


It's a 6/10 game even if the lag was not there. It lacks the talked about limitless customization and playability. It's a game that will get old quick.

Enjoy the SP on Hard while you can. BF3, GoW3, and other shooters will be out soon and this will be labeled as a SHADOWRUN successor.

LA Noire looks like crap. I mean the graphics look like they are going back in time, not improving......would never waste money on something like that.

Your right about that, you can go to gamestop.com and click buy used and pick up at your store and in NY lol its ridiculous.

A great thing for me though getting it this weekend, used just to make sure it works for me first.

Really? It's texture streaming and resolution polishing are all top of the charts. The texture detail, especially in facial animations, is bar none. Maybe your just watching trailers on an inferior machine?

When did graphics become the one and only concern when judging a video game? I guess by your standards Avatar is the only good movie? Heavy Rain the only good video game? Graphics do NOT determine the quality of a game, only a part of the quality of the game.

First off if you spent so much for it, give it a chance SD knows of all these bugs because believe it or not they have their own forum with people complaining about all the stuff people are having problems with and are working on fixing it. They know all these problems are are working on it so give it time! Nothing is perfect at release, NOTHING!



And to you SD is going to be changing the teammate AI to what it was originally, I.E bots will go out and do the objectives any chance they get. They changed it because they wanted the player to be the hero when you play with bots. And of course everyone in their right mind hated it and they acknowledge that. And saying OMGZ LAG isn't helping at all anymore cause SD KNOWS there is lag. They are working on it so chill and wait. I love brink and am willing to give it the chance to fix it's bugs so maybe you guys should do the same and deal with it.

I have Brink for the Xbox...so I have to wait for Microsoft to approve a patch before I get it. Which could be early next month, because Microsoft for some reason is stupid like that.

They are 'stupid like that' because a bad game patch could mess up the live servers. You are aware PS3 also has a certification process...correct?

It's funny when people try to play this card. LA Noire has amazing graphics, and probably the best looking mechanics I've seen. The facial movement and detail is the best I've seen since MGS4. I bet you bought Crysis 2...with its thin and flat 2d textureless grass and thin lifeless trees. You probably believe it does have the best graphics.

Of course not, but Rockstar has made games with better graphics than what ive seen in LA. GTA 4 has better graphics from what Ive seen of LA. I don't think a company should step backwards when theyve done better. And I really have no interest in being a cop/detective.

Even though the game can be fun at times when it works, I got to thinking, the game as a whole is not worth the $65 at all. I feel like I played the entire thing within the first 2 hours. Is this going to be the norm these days with game devs dishing out an incomplete game?

Brink reminds me so much of "Homefront".. so much expectation, and when it finally came out.... WOOPIE a 2 hour campaign and a 99% lagfest of a multiplayer.

But unlike Homefront, i will be storing brink away in the ol game tower, because its Fun, if you don't count the stupid AI's,

and honestly, i think LA noire will be a play once, finish and return within the 7 days for a full refund game. good graphics or not...


But i still have faith that Brink will be fixed soon enough, and become the awesome game it should be. with the ratings it got on the homepage, so it should! >.>

Look, lets just face facts, the game is in a worse state of repair then was to be expected, people who paid money (you know, customers) were/are upset.

They have every right to feel any way they choose to feel, no one on these forums should judge them for it.

Thanks for letting us know. I'm sorry you can't wait for your copy to be patched but we all must do what we must do.

I personally can't wait to play the game this weekend and I will gladly await patches if need be. I'm just thrilled SD is responsible enough to properly patch their games unlike some companies. :shrug:
