Just want to know if someone else have this problem when they play in freeplay.

I was shocked to see that even if you play your own designed character in a freeplay game including ppl, you are given a random 'bots' with differents faces, gears, cloths.

I mean.. i can't use the character i builded. My kickass resistance character stays home when its time to go in pvp. Like he worked so hard doing the campaign...

I also noticed this in a match where I was capturing a command post, and I had the "sense of perspective" ability, I looked at my character and, to my surprise, I was looking at a normal generic security soldier with the default clothing.
I assume it's a glitch for the 360, what system are you on?

You can customize your character on both sides on one character.

What he is saying is that sometimes, no matter which one of your characters you have chosen or on what side, a randomly
customized character will be 'given' to you when playing freeplay. I only had one character created at the time, a heavy, and
when I tried freeplay and planted a HE charge I noticed that my character was a completely different size and skin tone.

It appears to be random and rare, but it happens.

Hm I seemed to noticed this on other players last night I just presumed they were bots.

Just kept seeing like the exact 3 guys running together all the time.

i've noticed this happening in the challenge modes and thought it was by-design. like, you couldn't play as your character in a challenge, which, makes no sense to me.
if it's a bug, i hope it get's fixed, but i suppose it's not a "major" issue. just annoying.

That's happened to me before, but then after a few deaths I turn into my customized character.

The server possibly could have had an issue reading in your custom character and gave you a default one. I've seen this kind of issue in Halo3 and Halo: Reach where I'd have my armor customized, but in the game I would be wearing the default armor. It'd be interesting to know what the root cause of this issue is.

I've actually noticed bots playing as my character, with the exact same clothes and everything, and I have a preorder item equipped so that shouldn't happen should it?

i hope that's the issue. i've only ever seen it happen for a second or two while joining parties in Halo reach, never in game.
