Shape shifting, by convenience of just pressing a button, doesn't feel like TES to me. Maybe if it took quite a duration, for you to fully morph. Either a delay, or a morphing in stages over time. To just simply click a button and poof you are a wolf, just feels so watered down. There is zero anticipation. I'd also like to throw in the human/animal hybrid if at all possible. I'm talking animal head, standing upright. Either make it a first stage, before a full morph or possibly some advanced stage by low chance or something. This could possibly allow you to wield weapons and armor, still with the outlined physical form of a human with the ability to bite and of course extra power/speed depending on the characteristic of the animal.
If and when you do fully morph, I'd like to see a larger sized animal. The human size, plus the actual animals size should be combined in my opinion or at least 1.5 times, in matter of the final animal stage. Also, think about before you morph. If you are wearing any armor at all things won't happen naturally. You'd have to wear less armor than you'd imagine. In my opinion, you'd have to take everything off and abandon your items. Can animals carry swords, gems, herbs in their inventory? Nope.
That's if druids were introduced into Skyrim. I'm not even sure if I'd want druid in there.
