How will bartering be different this time around? Thoughts?

Well, one thing we do know is that a town's economy is more dynamic - destroying a town's food supply will for instance raise the price of food in that town.
So there's that.

I'm hoping there's also fluctuating prices this time around - a better system than "oh, you have to pay shopkeeper 300% of the item's worth, while you can only sell that item for 50% of it's worth." I would love if you could actually buy and sell between the shops now. Differences in price, from shopkeeper to shopkeeper, should vary more than the difference in price between selling and buying from the same merchant.

Alex basically you are saying you hope that you yourself can be some sort of merchant?

1: I want shopkeepers to have enchanted items that arent worthless and cost an insane amount for someone who isn;t cheating. (varla stone dupe = lol)
2: Maybe have the items on display that you can cycle through.

I rarely ever bought swords or potions, and enchanted items weren't all that appealing. I hope theres some incentive to *shop* if anything that goods circulate within and between towns and my transactions would effect it

Pretty much this, Also i cant recall any games that had a real economy. I want reasons, sales, new items, the store owner recently ransacked my house and I need to buy it back from him because i killed his parents.
