Well i've tried to give it a few days, but this is [censored]. Still horrible lag, even in the 5 on 5 game mode. What do I do?

Um.. wait or trade in your game and get back on black ops. Or snap the game in half.

I'd shelve it for a week or two and wait to see if the devs patch the problems.
Unless you just hate the game play overall, then you should sell it.

have fun trying to sell it if you bought it for PC.

I wouldn't bother with him. I would let him continue thinking it is the game and not himself with the issue so he leaves and goes back to which ever crap game he came from.

Really kid? How would you know my skill at the game? Its not that I'm frustrated that I bought a $60 game that I can't play online

Can you believe it? 3 days ago this forum was populated by mature gamers who just wanted to play the game. This thread is a good example of why being on the developer or publisher forums of a game post-release is a BAD thing to do.

Seriously, I normally just lurk but you people are getting old. Return to Call of Duty? Good advice actually, because even though we all wanted that new experience of a heavily team based objective FPS, Brink totally failed to deliver. So people will return to Call of Duty, and wait for someone else to do what Brink completely failed at.

I'll be waiting for a patch to fix this horrible lag, doubt it'll ever come though.

Nice TDM pull, because I totally didn't even just say I wanted a team based objective FPS, LOLOLOL IGNORED YOUR POST!!!! Look to Crysis 2 for lag that was never fixed, it's not like I'm reaching far here.

Also I never bought Black Ops, because I don't like the same old thing every time. I stopped at MW2 and still think CoD4 is the best of the genre. Just waiting for something new.

Edit: Also not that it matters, but I never play TDM as it is. I play with a normal group of 4-6 and do the objective game types...

I'm not trying to insult you in any way, but what would be your definition of a "heavily team based objective FPS"?

Basically wait a week and if they don't fix anything sell it before the value goes down. As somebody said we'll have to wait till somebody rips off Brink and does it properly or maybe the big 2 FPS developers will take notice and implement the things that we like about Brink into their IPs. I ain't holding my breath. I'm basically getting extra jaded towards FPS. I'm looking for good MMORPGs to come out on consoles now. FPS developers are REALLY taking advantage of and mooching the genre and not bringing anything new to the table.

Brink without the crippling lag, along with a lobby system, no bots, fixing the textures(seriously, art style is fine, graphics are terrible). They're close, and I am exaggerating completely failed. But I really don't trust developers these days, and I don't see anything getting fixed like it needs to be.

It's weird. I had bad lag on launch day (xbox) but since then, not really at all. I've just finished about a 4 hour session and had a bit of lag for about 5-10 minutes. It was real spotty lag so I stayed in the game and the rest of the half hour match was fine. All of my games have been smooth today. What's the difference here?

This section of the forum has been rendered useless because of all of the people bashing the lag or AI. But thats not a game killer but seriously I don't come on here anymore it's not worth reading all of the nasty negative comments that people who so egarly waited for release, are now bashing the game because they did not expect it not not be like a game they have played. I love this game. And I really enjoy playing it. Evey game I have played has been a new experience and I am enjoying every single moment of it. I applaud SD on a job well done. Since it was there first console game they did a very good job. The story was no "Call of Duty" story but was followable and fun to play. So people please stop dissing the game and making threads saying "Oh how much for trade in" if you don't like it trade it in. We (the people who enjoy the game. AKA - The ones who followed it from the start) will not any problem with you not playing a game that you do not like. That is your loss if you don't like it. Not mine.
