Armor stands

Post » Mon Apr 18, 2011 2:41 pm

I think it would be cool to have these. I want to see the armor I have collected over my travels. They did it for the Crusader's armor in Knights of the Nine, I'm sure they could do it now.

This was very convenient in Oblivion, however, there was only one stand.

Having the possibility to purchase multiple armor stands for my multiple homes would be awesome. It would be even better if they were used in shops to show off products, not just armor but clothing, like robes.

I'm so excited for the game! Thanks you Bethesda!

I remember when I first bought the game and was looking at a video of some guys Anvil house and he had armor stands. However he was on the PC and I didn't know the PC had mods. So to my disappointment I found out that I could never show off my armor.

So, armor stands PL0X? or at least add it to a dlc if it's too late to implement this.

No, it's just that it's been discussed before. Also, topics which are agreed upon rarely get a lot of conversation. If you want a lot of hits, start a controversial thread, like "Should our character's be able to get pregnant and have a (rhymes with "sma-smorshion") in the game?

But yea, long overdue feature. Everyone likes to display their stuff, and it makes a practical means of storage for armor you don't want to wear. Nobody ever puts their chainmail shirt in a dresser.

Don't feel too bad, most of the good ideas are no longer original.

And yes, this would be a pretty sweet feature, but hardly something that should take a priority over something along the lines of, making proper Polearm weapons appear in the game.

It fine. It's a good point to bring back up. I had totally forgotten about it until you mentioned it.

For players, this would be a very practical utility to have added to the vanilla game. The first mods I remember for this feature were from Morrowind modders.

I really hope this is added in Skyrim. Armor mannequins were a hit mod as far back as MW, and they would have to be very easy to add to the game.

Good idea, loved the armour stand in NOTN, and never understood why Fighters guilds had weapons stands that you just couldnt use

Yeah, always loved to show off armor and weapons in my house in Oblivion, but it wasn't really that easy to do without armor stands
