All my items are renamed

So after getting my game working again (long story, and not really relevant) and upgrading to OBSE 19, I loaded up a save to find that all of my items, except for armor, have been renamed - Arrow, Elven, for example, or Potion of Shedding (dispel). I know it's not a Wrye Bash names tweak (I checked that twice), but I have no idea what else could be renaming every single item in my inventory like this. Any ideas?

When you rebuilt your Bashed Patch you selected - Import Names ; Rational_Names.csv There is also an option that names all gaurds too.

There is another option - Tweak Names - which also has multiple options to tweak names.

Import names ; Rational_Names.csv is what makes the changes you're referring to if I remember corretly. But you may want to check both.

Yes I realize you say it's not a Wrye Bash tweak, but it is. I use these tweaks as I actually prefer them to the original names.

**EDIT** Yup I just checked. As I mentioned it's the Import Names ; Rational_Names.csv that makes this change. Uncheck it and rebuild your patch to revert to normal.

I always thought it was a mod that changed names of potions etc.
It is hard to get used to and remember what the descriptions mean/do.

You're right. I accidentally checked that one (I had to disable all my mods to check something, and when I re-enabled them, I just hit "Select all" for my tags... I didn't even think about Rational Names. Duh. Thanks!

(BTW, I don't think some of them are very rational, but that's just me.)

IIRC the "rational" names are in an external file you can edit so that you use names that make sense to YOU. Treat the current content as a sample, rather than someone's idea of what really is rational.

Most of what's there just re-arranges the name so that comparable items appear together - e.g renaming "xxx Arrow" to "Arrow, xxx" puts all the arrows together in the display. Some of the Potion renames do the same thing in a different way (because they already start with "Potion of").
