Skooma Trade

What sort of quests, characters, and lore will be developed for the Skooma trade in Skyrim? Any ideas? Suggestions?

That would be an interesting questline. I have not heard anything though.

I'm looking forward to a Scarface-esque questline. I think it's an opportunity they can't pass up

The underground skooma trade deserves it's own faction

Say hello to my giant warhammer ?

well, I'd say "say hello to my little friend" like in the movie, and then pull out a giant warhammer (if i used warhammers).

It'd be ironic.

Skooma and moonsugar were really glossed over in Oblivion. It was turned from a "real drug" where bad people made it, smuggled it, and killed for it, into a "above the influence" commercial for kids. "Oh look, those people are on skooma and act all goofy, teehee."

Of course, Skyrim is a long way from Black Marsh and Elsweyr. I'd like to see other drugs, like mushrooms, monkshood...stuff that's poisonous in large doses.

I agree. The drug trade should be revamped for Skyrim.

I think that it will have more of a presence rather than an easter egg-ish thing.

I hope there is a lot to do with the Skooma trade in Skyrim, with the civil-war going on and everything it opens up a lot opportunities for organized crime to take place, I really hope there is a quest-line or multiple quests focusing on such things.

And it would be even more ironic if that warhammer was made from iron. :D

I hope that there's more than just one dealer hiding behind a house in Bravil. I'd want it to be organized like today's drug world, with dealers scattered around that report to their bosses, who report to the next boss, etc., etc. Maybe there could even be a questline with the city guards where you are to track down small-time skooma dealers, and gain more information until you can eventually take out the whole drug ring.

Why can't I be on the other end of that? What if I want free Skooma for all? If they're gonna do it, they might as well do it right and let you choose a side. Nothing is worse than playing a "Smuggler" and then being forced to work with the guards, when you'd rather not.
