I only played Oblivion and Morrowind and dont know much about TES lore. So what is the Warp of the west? And how does it work?

Basically, all six TES2:Daggerfall endings happened at the same time.

This was because the player, in order to retrieve the Mantella (plot device), had to enter the Aetherius (realm of Akatosh (god of time)). That's why all the endings of Daggerfall occurred simultaneously.
It's basically Bethesda's take on the continuity.

A god walked around and broke time. That tends to happen when time is an individual being.

They wanted daggerfall to have multiple endings. But when they made morrowind, they didn't want to say which ending the player had done. So instead, they came up with a way for all six endings to have occurred.

Either a cop out or an ingenuous plot device; you decide ;)

The Warp of the West didn't just break time it transformed pretty much all f Western Tamriel. High Rock was transformed from being a collection of city states and diffrent king/princedoms into three major realms. That of Daggerfell, Wayrest and Orsinium. It also made Sentinel the dominate kingdom in Hammerfell.

It is actually eight endings, you can give the The Totem to: Daggerfall, King of Worms, Orsinium, Sentinel, The Blades, Underking, Wayrest or no one.

Numidium is a walking god-tower that kills the enantiomorph, ie Akatosh and Lorkhan. Every time it awakes time shatters and the land is devastated. First was Red Mountain, then Rimmen, then Alinor, then the Iliac.

The Numidium shoots the bird to the god of time while smoking, because that's the only way you shoot the bird at someone.

Numidium to reality: I'm here to kick ass and chew bubble gum, and I'm all out of gum."

This, instead of picking one way and making it canon, like Fallout, they just wrapped them all up and had the WITW.

False. The time dragon resides in Mundas. Aetherius is home to the Magne Ge. The Warp in the West occurred because all endings involve the activation of the Numidium; and the Stompy Robot tends to [censored] up a certain flying flamethrower.

Yes he does. He's PART of it.
He certainly doesn't reside in Aetherius, and it's not his realm.

All the aedra reside in Mundus. That's why they're aedra.
You can make a convincing case that they do not reside on Nirn, however, though Auriel might have Alinor his seat.

To add to Megaton's comment, we know the Aedra reside in Mundus because they/their plane(t)s are shown orbiting Nirn in the Orreries.
