At least armor, because my assassin hates the DB because they are dishonorable, but he wants to use ninja armor, but the only existing ninja armor is the DB one. Which annoys me.

I didn't say if the Dark Brotherhood was enough for me or not it was just an idea
i Really like the Dark Brotherhood the Dark Brotherhood Armor looked alot like ninja Armor but i just want more variation of Ninja Armor and Weapons i think it's not called Ninja in Elder Scrolls think it's called the Akaviri

Exept Akaviri is a continent east of Tamriel. Not much is known about the people living there. Their weapons and armor are inspired by Japan though, wouldn't be surprised if they had something similar to ninjas there.

Problem is, TES V is set in Skyrim, thousands of miles from Akavir, and getting there takes weeks by very good quality ships, so I really doubt we'll be seeing Akavirians in Skyrim.

You have seen what the guy is wearing in the new background picture behind your post.....right!...your agumant is flawed.
You have been weighed, you have been measured, and you have been found wanting.

Also the akaviri ,sound like they fight like ninja's,samurai's etc. Also ninja's are assassins.

epic line..hopefully people know what its from

Anything "Ninja" would be horribly out of place, Skyrim is not TES version of the far east, it's closer to viking than anything else, if you want ninja stuff go play your j-rpgs.

LoL @ Those people saying katanas are not ninja weapons. Ninjas used ninja-to because they were cheaper if they got the occasion to steal a katana after assassinating a samurai they would. katanas are superior weapons and they used them

Hahaha, the ninjato is pure fiction.

Slightly OT, maybe not.

In case you're interested in *REAL* katana techniques, check this on Katory Shinto Ryu.

Katory Shinto Ryu can somewaht be practised outside Japan, in Europe namely, via Aikibudo. It would be
T - R - E - M - E - N - D - O - U - S is future Elder Scrolls games would implement some of these moves.

It's not very Nordic.

It is Akavirish however, and the Skyrim invaders are from Akavir, so they could have brought something with them.

Samurai's armor isn't light. It has leather, but it also has steel plates. More importantly it moves like heavy armor, it only flexes in certian pivitol locations, because it is a type of platemail.

Light armor (and really the name is misleading) is more about armor that can flex easily and anywhere. Leather, chainmail. Chainmail is by no means light, it just flexes everywhere not at certian points.

Hmmm, in that case, I don't mind it being heavy armor, but it should be pretty light for a heavy armor (maybe even the lightest heavy armor).

Too dark to tell.

Why would you want to be a ninja? They weren't warriors, all they did was hide in a bush and blow a pole at you until it hit you, causing death by poison. They occasionally threw something sharp, and in a fair fight, they died. I don't even consider them assassins, because assassins are skilled.

You don't know much about ninjas, do you? Ninjas were espionage experts, had an art for their purpose called Ninjutsu which involved skills in many areas including armed and unarmed combat, so they were plenty good at fighting. They were basically assassins/thieves/spies/other stealth based occupation from Japan. There's no reason to say they were less skilled than someone with a similar occupation from another country.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ninjutsu There's some info for you on what ninjas actual skills were. I think what you were thinking of is random South American tribal hunters. Who are unusually bad at fighting.

I think he meant Ninja, but he got a few things messed up on it.

Ninja's did use blow darts and they did modify tools into weapons. Ninja's were bad at straight up fighting, they had a low chance of winning in a straight up fight, they were assassins and spies, they weren't dedicated samurai warriors and they wouldn't be able to fight as well as one with a Katana, Ninja did have many ways they could kill and they'd probably still know how to use a Katana better then the average person on the street, but Samurai trained hard at their style while Ninja were more versatile and stealth based. Samurai use to be good at archery at one point too, but like Europeans, it seems there was a whole honor code and as such made archery a bit less important then the sword play, so the average samurai may have been inferior to a ninja in archery...
