A few mods working together experiment...

Post » Thu May 12, 2011 11:39 pm

Ok I am installing the game yet again, and once more I want to install TIE with a few other mods, there is compatibility for Frans but that doesn't matter right now. I wanna know how does Enhanced Economy work with TIE and SM
Because last time I did this I had some weird prices with SM drain effects were considered overpowered by EE, would It be wise to use EE with TIE and would it be wise to use SM with TIE with EE?
TheNiceOne may remember that I wrote that I had a problem with EE and I couldn't fix it sadly..
I also wanna know what would happen if I use hear no evil and shout mods with TIE since if i read correctly TIE does change the behavior of NPC's and also if you have better ideas.. write it down please
I also might consider putting in OOO but I think I would have to put it early in my load order since everything would be messed up if I put it after TIE

I think EE and TIE is a very good combo that complement each other well, and should have absolutely no incompatibilities.

As for EE and SM, EE has some options for repricing (reducing) the value of enchantments, I cannot really imagine what weird results that would come from combining it with SM, but those options are fully configurable (and disabled by default) in EE, so there should not be any problem with the two together.

Not really, I guess you'll have to remind me.

You can use TIE with OOO, but you should use TIE-Integration for the best compatibility. The readme (I think) lists all the differences; mostly you lose the city entrances and a few other minor things. I use it with FCOM and it works great - I'm still getting beat down at L18. BOSS says that TIE goes after OOO anyway, so you might all right with TIE and OOO too. *shrug*

I use RGO (which, unless I'm mistaken, has a lot of the features of SHOUT and Hear No Evil) and it works normally - as long as the guards don't see me, they don't bother me.

@TheNiceOne thanks for the reply I always appreciate your help :D
I wrote it back a few months ago that I experienced a huge overprice for a drain health poison something around 1300 gold i think
I am not sure if its still like this now but the hunting poison from TIE was very low priced and I wonder if its still the same about 26 gold
@WalkerInShadows using TIE after OOO should result in having no problems with the game however TIE-Integration is old...and I don't plan on using many mods this time and please full name RGO i forgot what it means

tbh i had alot of problems getting mods to work well with TIE so i ended up doing FCOM... and to get that dangerous feeling like TIE i upped the damage x 1.5. you could even make weapons and magic do 2-3x or as much as you want so it feels like TIE damage. theres a mod for it i could post if u decide otherwise. there are some things from TIE i miss that were very cleverly added that made the game feel way different in subtle ways but oh well. sorry this is probably has nothing to do with your question lol.

OOO MMM FRANS they all dont really fit into TIE due to damage differences. you can overwrite TIE damage with MOBS but that defeats the purpose of using TIE. you really just will have mod imbalances with TIE but nothing not compatible which is nice. SM would work nice with TIE because it adds spells and makes them stronger just dont use the plugin to do vanilla stats with SM.

I have a question about Enhanced Weather, when I use Enhanced Nights script from it do I deactivate the Enhanced Weather Darker Nights esp? or do I keep it activated?
Also does RGO change the behavior of TIE NPC-s?
