best light armor?

Post » Fri May 13, 2011 3:48 am

Just curious about what the best (types) of light armour there are in the game, and how/where I get them. Posting in mods section b/c I am running an FCOM install, so I'm sure there are new armours added by the numerous mods. Currently, I'm find a lot of heavy armors in dungeons, which doesn't really suit my play style. Thanks.

The http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Main_Page can tell you everything you need to know about the http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Armor. For mod added ones, the best answer you're likely to get is RTFM. :)

TFM, in this case, will not tell him what he wants to know. Oscuro's readme is notorious for not providing detailed information. The only way I know of to find out which armors have which stats is to look them up in the construction set.

Well, he's not clear... best looking one? If yes - male or female? For vanila body or for body replacer? Or is it states of the unenchanted armor? Or is it the best enchanted light armor?
Anyway, his best shot IMHO is section Armor on the Nexus - thousands of them... a poll about who is using what would be nice though.

Thanks. By best I should have been more specific-- best for my character who favours sniping from the shadows with poisoned arrows, destructive magic, very one-sided, quick swordkills with a super bad-ass two handed fire-sword (spelled like maug baumestrel or something close to that- found it in one of the fighters guild display cases). I like sneaking and lockpicking, so armour that favours security and stealth would be good.
