Just a quick question...

Post » Mon May 16, 2011 1:15 pm

I have been reading up on a bit of Lore recently, and such have started reading books from oblivion in order to boost my knowledge, now my question is about "the warp in the west", it was to my knowledge when a paradox hit the golemn Numidium and it became six controlleded by six different masters to carry out some sort of series of task, you know, global domination ectcetera ectcetera, everyone wants a piece of tamriel, but on the book " A life of uriel septim VII" it describes the warp in the west as a time of peace in warring provinces... anyone care to elaborate?

Before the Warp, there were a LOT of small kingdoms constantly feuding and fighting.
Then during the Warp, the three local powers took advantage of the chaos and violence and crushed the other kingdoms, unifying the lands into three large countries. This put an end to the incessant warfare waged between the smaller states.
Peace was reached through violence.

"How" was by the Hero of Daggerfall giving it to them.
The metaphysical mechanics of the mantella and Numidium's operation and all that are a bigger subject that I'll get into here.

If I recall correctly, "who" was each of the leaders of Daggerfall, Sentinel, and Wayrest, as well as The Underking, Mannimarco, Gortwog of Orsinium, and The Blades.

Four kingdoms sprung out, actually; remember that this is the reason the orcs got their equal rights in the first place.

Before all of this crisis, there were a good 62 or more/less kingdoms with their own capital city and what not.

Expanding on "who", the four nation use the Numidium for their petty needs; the Underking became god rather then using the stumpy robot; the Blade use it and/or destroy the Numidium, and the Underking that destroy the Numidium so he can finally die.

Okay, ive just read up on my Lore, so the possible endings for daggerfall in where different kingdoms and rulers get the mantella are all said to actually all have happened at once by some strange phenomenom, the lesser kingdoms where then destroyed and the remaing swore allegence to the empire and to tiber septim and low and behold years of peace was brought onto all of llicac bay... i think i've got it xD
