DR + UV + DMC + 3rd Person (grin)

Howdy friends!

I've got a quick question about combat mods with animation replacers.

I really love what this mod ( http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=18617 ) adds to the game. I love the head bob, and the way movement feels more in 1st person than just a static "floating ghost" view of the world.

However - (and i know i'm asking a lot of probably incompatible mods) how can I go about using DR + UV + DMC stylish and this mod in a way that won't break the camera? I know I'll replace some animations from the different combat mods, and that's fine, but right now anytime i execute a DR fatality the camera becomes... unglued, i would say.

After it breaks, In third person I can still move around just fine, but I can only activate things by turning about 45 degrees away. In first person... well, the camera is unglued. I need to reload the game to fix it, not just open a new savegame.


Any thoughts? Maybe it can't be done, but if someone has a solution, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

You′ll want to wait for DR6. It′s BASED on that mod - with edited anims to eliminate clipping etc that come with it out of the box.

I was meant to release last weekend, but found some core stuff I wanted to improve with new Obse stuff, so I′m still working on the final task list. With some luck I′m done today or tomorrow, and the release is then on Friday. :)

id suggest installing in this order:
Unnecessary Violence
Deadly Reflex
3rd Person anims in first
DMC Stylish

Be aware DMC doesnt come with first person anims AFAIK. if you copy the anims from the _male folder to the _1sperson folder, you will get the same effect as with 3rd person anims in first

That wont work with DR5 without some special edits. And with DR6 you are not supposed to install the original 3rd person anims in 1st person at all. ;)

There was a list of the exact files which had to be replaced and by which ones for DR5 to eliminate the camera issues with 3rd person anims in 1st person view.
The thing is this mod requires you to not use "any" real 1st person animations anymore ever, or the camera will glitch as described. This also means special idle animations, where the 1st person counterparts are at the exact same location as the 3rd person ones. Copying the 3rd person animations into the 1st person folder was only the start. You had to replace the 1st person special idles with their respective 3rd person counterparts as well. That's what the list was for.

But this was only for DR. I don't know what animations came with UV as my laptop broke before it came out, and there was no such list covering UV also as far as I can tell.
I'd just wait for DR6 to be released in this case, just to play safe.
Also be careful with simply copying any 3rd person animations into 1st person folder and expecting this to work already. Without Loop Sombre's mod it will not. The 3rd and 1st person skeletons by default are too different and their animations are not simply interchangeable at will!
