I could go into detail about your ideas, but I just don't want to. They are just plain bad ideas, all of them. They are either rip offs of CoD, Halo (Hologram, seriously bro?) or just plain unneccesary alltogether.
And complaining about how lv 20 is a third of a prestige, well you apparently don't have ten lv 20 charecters, and if you can manage to play the same broken CoD gameplay for 10 or 15 prestiges, then I don't see the issue in playing the greatness of brink and maxing out a small handful of differently spec'd out characters.

The problem with more levels is that it means more level points, which means more abilities, which means more disparity between low level guys and high level guys, and a longer trip to the top. It also means that it becomes easier to completely max a class or two.

I'm all for having more abilities to choose from, but only so that choice becomes more neccesary and thus makes each character more unique.

More character slots so that I can make more characters might be nice, as well as more clothing options and more weaponry and attachments, but I think the level 20 cap is right for this type of game and the only way I would be interested in seeing an increase in that cap would be if it was only a minor increase and there were a lot more abilities to choose from, which I doubt we will see.

Seriously,no one needs new gimmicks in that game atm. -.-

Bring this game on a acceptable standard in terms of playability and then add more things like this.

To me, this game feels like its focusing on gameplay instead of grinding which is awesome.

I mean, level 20 is about 500k exp which is 1/5 of the time wasted on prestige on MW2, but since you get 2x less points its about 1/3 less wasted time.

I fixed your post.

Thank god for gameplay.

Imagine if xp is money and everyone complaining about too little levels is a greedy business man who would murder children to earn a buck.
Now, imagine someone who's in their business for what it does for people instead of xp.

Low level cap is a good thing, a very good thing.

Rader sensor (a universal ability that lets the player give out one of these to another player that lets them see everybody on the radar for a short period of time) Operative Comms Hack. Interact with an incapped, but not dead, enemy and the entire team sees all enemies on radar for several seconds.

combat swords(replaces secondary or primary, 1 shot kill but need to be right next to them and takes a second to use, also has a cooldown) I'm not liking this idea. It's balanced with the one second swing, yes, but that's a locked animation and Splash Damage isn't into things like that.

Holographic (lets an operative make a clone of themself standing in one spot depending if they were crouching or walking at the time) No. This is the year 2045, not 2553.

Cloak (lets an operative buff another player with 50% transparency for a short period of time) Possibly. I hope Splash damage considers this.

Strength (lets a medic buff another player to go up a body type in list without effecting their speed or climbing height What about Heavies? And that could end up overpowered if you get everyone. Everyone minigun mediums, Killing everything without any speed or SMART drawbacks? No.

Agile (a high rank universal ability that lets the player climb faster) I like this one.

Robotic Dog (lets a high rank engineer place down a Robotic Dog that moves at the same speed as a medium body type and does %33 damage) Doesn't really fit into the theme of civil war.

Healing Station (lets a high rank medic place down a Healing station that heals all people within a small radius by 50% per 3 seconds if not in combat. Healing station is in use for 30 seconds and has small health, if it gets shot by a rocket or a couple of bullets it will be destroyed) ET:QW had this. Why not BRINK? Yes.

profession kit (a high rank medic ability that buffs a player to be able to use a HE charge, cannot use on self) No, then Soldiers are useless.

Unstoppable (a high rank soilder ability that lets every class able to take less falling damage) You can already take less falling damage by SMART + Crouching.

cats eyes (a high rank operative ability that makes a flash bang effect last only for 2 seconds, vision will be SLIGHTLY blurred afterwards for 30 seconds every time the player gets flash'd) A high rank ability to prevent one attack? Waste.

Reinforced iron (a high rank engineer ability that lets an engineer buff their own turrets to take more damage and deal more damage) Maybe not deal more damage - that could prove unbalancing. Longer range?

leave a comment if you approve or not, but don't complain if you don't like these ideas.

Seems like the OP wants the game to be more like Halo and Crysis 2.

I hate the cloak in Crysis 2,and am glad it's not in this one.

The combat sword and robotic dog are just terrible ideas.

I think that the only real thing that is needed is some sort of command structure and command directions like pointing out were people should go.

Aside from more cosmetic things, that I'm almost positive will be released as DLC,this game really doesn't need much added to it.Adding more stuff just seems like you aren't happy with "BRINK" and would rather be playing something else but with the look of BRINK.

@VaultDweller Exile: So you want to make pistols completely worthless by giving rifles the same ability. Uh...no.

@TehJamsiJK: There already is something that one hit kills. Take the Shotgun, sneak up on someone, aim, kill.

You know what I want. The ability to instead of carrying a Primary weapon and a Secondary weapon that there was a way to instead carry dual pistols in combat (namely the revolver).

Low level cap is a good thing, a very good thing.
Especially if they're planning to release DLCs that increase that Level Cap later.
