A whole new world

The fourth era is upon Cyrodiil, and peace has come to the dynamic land, strangely enough. A merchant ship, blown off course by raging storms, has discovered a new island south of Valenwood. The island, now named Eboto, is going to be a new Imperial colony. The Elder Council has approved the members for the expedition to explore and set up pioneer towns on the new island. The ship is only hours away, and these pioneers should be introduced. This rp will portray the hardships and good times these brave souls encounter, and how it will bring the crumbling empire together.

Rules: Typical RPing rules (Do I really have to say much else)
Join in whenever you want, but make it reasonable please (There is only one shipload of people coming in, and that's today)

Character sheet: (Follow the example)
Name: Aron
Race: Redguard
Gender: Male
Age: 26
Previous Job: Hunter
Appearence: A large, lighter-colored redguard with a calming aura. His mouth is quite large, and his arms muscular from his lifestyle. He has a scar on his face from a hunting accident. Black, short cut hair, usually kept inside a fur hat.
Clothing: Huntsman gear, with the occasional hat.
Primary skill: Marksman
Weapons and Equipment: Simple wood bow with 20 arrows, a dagger in his boot, a skinning knife, some bottles of ale, and two day's worth of venison jerky.
Bio: From a kindly Nord mother and an alcoholic, abusive Redguard father, Aron knows the hard parts of life. He hunted with his brothers to feed his family since he was 11, and after a house fire killed the entire family, Aron lived in wilderness camps, occasionally selling his game in towns across Hammerfell and Colovia. When he was having a drink at the Count's Arms in Anvil, Wilbur mentioned the new Imperial colony. Intrigued by a new adventure, Aron signed up for the trip. Now, he is ready to make a real life from himself, in a new land.

The story begins...

Drinking an ale, Aron looked back at what he was leaving behind. Not much, he thought, eyeing the continent. Nobody but myself to rely on now. As Aron sat watching the sunset over Valenwood, the crew inside the ship was bustling. Various people from all walks of life crowded the sides of the ship to get a look at their new home. Eboto was a nice place, with the sandy, sun-kissed beaches and the inviting woods beyond them. Small holes littered the coastline strangely. Aron dismissed it as unimportant and continued enjoying his drink. And with the last drop, he threw the bottle into the ocean. Let's go meet some new people, I have to live with them anyway...
