Hopefully,never.

Brink isn't about personal glory through stats, unless you are talking about nothing more than a win/loss record.I could go for that, but anything more is just encouraging a solo run and gun mentality.

If you want more stats, you'd better find another game.

You are playing the wrong game too.

It's been reiterated over and over again that this is a team game and stats don't matter,so "blah blah" back to another game where you can obsess about how well you are doing, instead of just playing the game to win.

ok boss.... did I mention wanting to see k/d ratio? no I didnt. There is no info on what the stats will contain so maybe its best for some to stop thinking they know more than others.

I am playing the right game and loving it.

Stats is not always about who gets the highest kpd. CS Source always had fun stats where you could see which guns players used most or where you could see what body parts you hit most.

Don't get me wrong though. I'm against stats myself, but it can be usefull and fun to see in a non competitive way.

Some of us just wanna know things like; What gun we do best with(not most used but which one we get best K/D or win/loss with), how we stack up against our friends(so we can decide who and how to make a good team), which maps we do best on and where we need to improve.

Those are the main reasons i would like to see my stats, i could care less about person glory and how my K/D or points are doing.

I used these reasons on battlefield for the most part to find out what i was best with, and who on my friends list worked best at different class set ups.

I guess my problem with publishing the stats for this game is that when people start seeing what guns people are using the most, then more people will start using then because of the perception that it's better.

Now people have their personal preferences and dislikes, but the more people use certain weapons or equipment, the more that others will flock towards it.

For instance,if a bunch of people are raving about how much they love the shotty, you can bet that there's going to be a major upswing of shotgun usage in the game from both sides.

I don't know,I guess after playing MAG for over a year,it's really refreshing to play a game where you aren't constantly worrying about your stats to make you feel like you are actually contributing.

No. You're pretty stubborn aren't you? A team game can't have stats? It's the players choice to let their stats determine the way they play. It seems the only stat you are taking into mind is the Kill/Death ratio. When in fact the stats could very well be based on how well you help the team, with things like how many objectives you've completed, and maybe how many revives you have.

If you don't want to look at your own stats then don't. Some of use would like to know how we are doing. I understand if maybe your not the best player and would rather no one else really sees how well you do.
A game like brink is very competitive, so stats go hand in hand with the game.

Maybe Brink isn't the right game for you.

I personally look forward to stats.

If you go to your main menu, theres a thing that says stats. It says register with a site and gives you a code to plug in. (Xbox 360, not sure about the others)

Well let's see,the devs said that the game's only stats are XP and it seems that most of you guys are obsessed on knowing other things than that.I've accepted a long time ago that this game isn't including stats,so how isn't the game for me when I'm happy with the way it is and you aren't?

Everyone wants to change this game from what we all knew what it was about for a very long time now.Sure it needs some tweaks here and there, but if you're not satisfied with the main principles of what the game is,then I'll say it again,MAYBE THIS GAME ISN'T FOR YOU!

Nobody has said anything about changing the game.. Also the Splash Damage stated that there would be a stats site before the game was released.

Dude...the statistic site will come out sometime this week. You do understand this was announced by Splash Damage themselves right?

This is coming from a guy who can't care less for stats.

Well I guess I must have been misinformed, because I'd heard that the only stats that were going to be available was your individual XP.

Anyway, whatever.I'm done arguing about it,especially since the OP's question has already been answered.

Nobody's arguing with you, we are just trying to tell you that a stats site won't change anything.
