PSN is back up in the northeast of U.S and i played a match online there was little to no lag until it change host and it went all down hill from there. I will wait for a patch since i enjoy the game.

no lag until host change measn you the secnod host was a crappy host. lag is impossible to get rid of completely, but from what you said, i don't think PS3 suffers from the same lag issues as 360. (sry 360 guys, but it is the Gamer Gods punishing you for playing Brink while PS3 players suffer...ALL HAIL THE GAMER GODS!)

Yea I have been hosting games and so far all the people are saying it isn't lagging or any issues. It's all about host connection
