How to install mods to OBMM?

Post » Wed May 18, 2011 11:14 am

So, I haven't played Oblivion in a while due to something screwing it up (was a fake mod that ruined it). I just fixed it up yesterday, and I've realized I have yet again failed to remember how to install mods (regular AND omods) to OBMM. Anybody care to remind me how to do this?

I'd suggest you bookmark http://tesivpositive.animolious.com/?page=omod_installation site. It will help answer many questions you may have in the future as well... :)

For regular mods, you don't do anything for OBMM. Just copy what you need to your Data folder, and when you launch the utility they'll show up. For OMODs, you just double click on the icon and take it from there. OBMM will open up, you'll see the OMOD listed in a window to your right, then just click on the little coloured square next to the name. Or is it double-click?

Ah, thanks. I shall go do that now.

EDIT:Wait, where do I put them in the folder? I just downloaded an old keyblade mod of mine.

I swear, I could somehow put in the mod much easier with just OBMM, not doing it this way.

Sounds like you're in dire need of reading the forum stickies and TES4:POSitive if you've forgotten that much...
