Playable at E3?

Post » Sun May 15, 2011 4:02 am

What are the chances of Skyrim being playable at E3 by attendees? Worst case, a Bethesda bod playing it for us on the big screen, to give us all a little taster. Didn't they do this for Oblivion and Fallout 3?

Fat chance, but that doesn't bother me. I'll settle for watching Todd play it for an hour or so.

Well, we already know that gameinformer was shown a demo of the game and Pete Hines tweeted a while back that he was handing them out.

I have so many mixed feelings about seeing more gameplay and info. On one hand I want to see everything so bad but on the other hand....

I'm sure they will have it playable at E3, it's so far off. Probably something similiar to New Vegas. My question is, why the hell would you want to play it early? That would cut the edge of th epicness you feel when you lay in November. I wouldn't play it early unless someone paid me to. >.>

Just like the other games, Todd will show off select portions of the game behind closed doors. It's up to the media to leak out the demonstration.

Pretty much exactly the way I figure it will go as well.

Didn't Pete Hines tweet that their show for E3 is a private booth, only available by appointment? That definitely sounds like Skryim, but doesn't sound optimistic for us little people getting to have a go at it.. :(

A video is possible, yes. I thought the OP meant a playable demo for all the people at E3.
